Goobers For You! (No Bake, too)

These cookies are delicious, gooey, sticky, yet lovely, and full of flavor. Below is the recipe for these goobery goobers. Soon, after making these, you will be a goober fanatic, but don’t thank me for this darling recipe, rather thank my Aunt Katelyn. Okay, so enough of this chit chat, and down to the recipe.

Goobers: (Makes approximately 31 goobs)

  • 6 T. Butter
  • 3/4 cup Honey
  • 1/2 cup cocoa
  • 1 slosh milk, or replace with 2 T. butter
  • 1 heaping t. peanut butter (optional)
  • 1 t. Vanilla
  • 2 cups Oats

Instructions: Mix together butter, honey and cocoa together in a saucepan, stirring frequently. Boil on medium heat. Let boil for 3 minutes straight, stirring constantly. Add vanilla, peanut butter (optional) and oats and stir quickly. Spoon onto baking sheets quickly, lest the mixture harden before you get it onto the pan. Once all the mixture is on the baking sheets, let harden, then eat to your heart’s desire!
