Happy early Easter!
I hope that you getting ready for an amazing Easter, remembering how amazing our God is. I’m always so amazed that Jesus actually DIED for OUR sins and then how He amazingly rose back to life! Like, how cool is that?!?!
A lot of people (me included) get sidetracked by all the fun Easter stuff that the world wants us to turn to, instead of focusing on our Lord and Savior. People go on Easter egg hunts, buy chocolate bunnies for one another and purchase chicks or baby rabbits. I’m not saying that any of those are sinful, because they aren’t – but when those things distract us from the REAL purpose behind Easter, I think that it’s almost sinful.
Now, you can most DEFINITELY go on Easter egg hunts and buy people chocolate bunnies, but make sure that you don’t center your Easter JUST on that. It’s selfish and it’s closing Jesus out on a day that is put aside to celebrate Him.
Make sure to celebrate Jesus this Easter.
