Also, this might seem lame, but due to my lack of being able to come up with questions to ask, I am doing the same questions for both awards…Yes. I am. Pardon me. XD

Steve’s Questions:

  1. Do you collect anything?
    Yes! I have a stamp collection, and I also collect dead insects that I find random places. I am an insect-lover, so I prefer not to kill them for my collection, but just find them dead. ๐Ÿ™‚
  2. Do you like to keep your home โ€˜fullโ€™ but orderly, or do you prefer a minimalist look?
    Full but orderly. I like my things, though every now and then I’ll go around and clean out everything.
  3. What would be your favorite color for your bedroom, kitchen, living room?
    A teal blue!! I LOVE that color!
  4. Do you enjoy going for walks?
    YES!! I love
  5. Do you enjoy hiking?
    Yes!! I love hiking, though I haven’t done very much of it. ๐Ÿ™‚
  6. Do you like to spend time outside each day?
    Definitely!! My family and I live in the middle of the forest, and I love going outside and being surrounded by God’s beautiful creation. โค
  7. Do you like house plants?
    Yeah, though I don’t like taking care of them. XD
  8. Do you have a pet? What is it?
    I have a chicken and a corgi, along with my corgi’s two puppies. ๐Ÿ™‚
  9. Early morning, day, evening, or night person?
    I’m honestly not quite sure…My dad basically built into all of us kids to be early risers, so we can’t help waking up early. I can’t sleep in, and I can stay up late (though I get EXTREMELY hyper. XD), so maybe both?! I’ve never been able to figure that one out. XD
  10. What time of day do you enjoy walking?
    Mid-day, when I can go and get our mail after walking on our really long driveway. Also evenings, when I can see the sun set. ๐Ÿ™‚
  11. What is it about my blog that keeps bringing you back?
    It’s so awesome and I love seeing all the photos that you take!

  1. How often do you make a post?
    I write a lot of mine ahead of time and just schedule them, but I post two every week, one on Sunday and another on Tuesday. ๐Ÿ™‚
  2. Whatโ€™s your favorite part of summer?
    Camp!! I just recently went to camp this year for the first time and it was AMAZING!!
  3. Whatโ€™s your favorite animal?
    Tiger!!
  4. What do you do when your bored (besides blogging)?
    Read, Write, Work-Out, Play sports with my siblings!
  5. How long does it take for you to make a post?
    Depends on the post, but on average…Probably 30 minutes to an hour. ๐Ÿ™‚
  6. Whatโ€™s your favorite letter?
    Ohhh, never thought about that before…probably an “M” or an “S”. I don’t know why; just because. XD
  7. Whatโ€™s the last thing you looked up on the web?
    Ezra’s award post. XD
  8. Are you an introvert or extrovert?
    Extreme extrovert when I want be! XD
  9. Do you like swimming?
    I LOVE SWIMMING!!!
  10. How long does it take you to walk a mile?
    Hmmm…well, it takes me about 9 minutes to run a mile (I’m slow, I know. XD), so probably 15? I have no clue. XD

      5. XD Nice! Sadly I actually can’t watch OU games because I don’t have cable or anything ๐Ÿ˜ฅ I just look up the scores and stuff on ESPN.

      7. Our TV actually didn’t even come with a router so it doesn’t have any channels. But we have a Roku which you can get channels on but the good ones with sports games cost $$$. Sad, yep. ๐Ÿ˜ฅ

  5. How long have you been blogging?
    Eight months for DLTDGB, a little over five years for HWฮ . I also had a Livejournal for almost a decade.

    What is your favorite subject to learn about?
    A lot of things. I often read random articles on Wikipedia in my spare time, and then get caught down rabbit trails reading about other things; I jokingly say I’m training for being on Jeopardy. (I had an audition for Jeopardy a year ago, but I don’t think I did well.) But one time a few months ago, there was a Final Jeopardy question that was EXACTLY what I had been reading about on Wikipedia on my lunch break that day. So it’s true.

    How tall are you?
    Just under 6’4″.

    If you could choose one thing to eat for the rest of your life, what would it be?
    Food.

    What is your favorite season?
    I want to give a snarky answer like “baseball season,” but I tend to go to more basketball games than baseball games in person these days. But that has to do with the fact that we have an NBA team here and no other major level teams. As for a serious answer, summer. Or maybe that transition period in September and October that I call Summer Junior. We don’t really have a fall here; it feels like summer until around November 1, and then within a week it gets as cold as it’ll ever get, and the leaves just come off the trees at some point.

    Can you skip rocks and if so, very good?
    Yes, and no.

    What do you think is wrong with the world?
    People need Jesus. And everyone is so disconnected from each other since we spend time looking at screens instead of real faces.

    What do you think needs to be changed to fix those world problems?
    Turn off the screen and go spend some time in the world around you.

    What is something you wish people had told you before you started blogging?
    If you’re just doing this for fun and not planning on making blogging a full time job, don’t stress about posting on a schedule.

    A huge giant book thousands of pages long that has all of my favorite books bound in one volume. You never said this book actually had to exist…

    What is your all-time favorite quote?
    I have a lot, but we’ll go with this one, because it’s so relevant to my life as an adult: โ€œLike any classic video game, the Hunt had simply reached a new, more difficult level. A new level often required an entirely new strategy.โ€ –Parzival from the book Ready Player One (which was way better than the movie, but the movie did keep just enough of the spirit of the book to be enjoyable)

      1. Sacramento Kings. I’ve been a season ticket holder since the new owners took over in 2013. That kind of happened accidentally, because my mom wanted to surprise me, and she’s a terrible listener on the phone and the sales rep didn’t explain things clearly. ๐Ÿ˜‚
