Hey all!!

I was nominated for the Sunshine Blogger Award by Joshua and Anna! Thanks so much guys, I had so much fun doing this!!

Anna’s questions and my answers:

  • What’s a memory from this summer that still makes you smile?
    Okay! Probably when my crush asked me to go to a masquerade ball with him this year…so yeah. That makes me really happy. 😉
  • Has a stranger made your day before?
    Oh yeah!! I absolutely adore waving at random people as we drive by their car, so whenever they wave back or get super excited to see me waving, I get so giddy and it totally makes my day!!
  • What is the funniest thing you’ve done in public?
    Hmmm…well, one time my dad was kicking his shoe off his foot in a grocery store to see how far or high it could go, so me, being the very competitive person that I am, I did the same thing, except my shoe went in a lady’s cart… Yeah. Enough said. XD -_-
  • Favorite happy-go-lucky song?
    Ooh! Probably “Can’t Stop the Feeling” by Justin Timberlake. Lame, I know, but I love how upbeat and happy it is!
  • What is something/someone that added a little sunshine to your week?
    Well the week is young and not much has happened, but I think (2) weeks ago, I taught a photography class at our homeschool co-op and one of my students came up to me and said that I had done a great job teaching and that just made me so happy, so yeah!
  • Sunshine or rain?
    Rain!! I absolutely ADORE rain. There’s something so magical about walking in our forest with the rain falling over you…ahhhhh. ❤
  • What person never fails to get a laugh out of you?
    My Uncle Peter. He’s so hysterical and I have so much fun hanging out with him, laughing so hard almost the entire time. XD
  • Something you look forward to about this Autumn season?
    Wearing my Worldview Academy sweatshirt that I adore. Lame, right? But I just can’t wait. XD
  • Roller skates, skateboard, or bicycle?
    Bicycle! I love roller skating but I’m not that good and I’m terrible at skateboarding. XD
  • Favorite wildflower?
    Zinnias!
  • Why is yellow such a happy color, to you? (or, do you agree that it is a happy color?)
    It’s just so bright and bouncy and so pretty!!

  • 1. Do you like to go hiking?
    Yes!! I love hiking. ❤
  • 2. What’s your favorite animal?
    Tigers!
  • 3. What beverage do you like best?
    Tea!
  • 4. Can you ski?
    Never tried, so no. XD
  • 5. Do you like Legos?
    I don’t play with them a whole lot, but I used to. My brother and I sometimes make stop-motion Lego movies together, and we have a lot of fun with that!
  • 6. What’s your favorite book of the Bible?
    Acts!
  • 7. Who’s your favorite Bible character?
    Well duh, Jesus, but besides Him, probably Esther. ❤
  • 8. Have you ever passed out tracts?
    Nope, but I’d love to sometime!
  • 9. Have you ever gone camping?
    Yessss, lots! I first went camping when I was a baby and we live in the forest, so we do camp fairly often.
  • 10. Who’s your favorite author?
    I have several…Bob Goff, Brian Jacques and Chuck Black. ❤
  • 11. What would you like to do someday?
    Bring someone to Christ. ❤

  5. [I’m answering in character as Greg. Today is March 4, 1995. You’ll have to wait and see if any of these answers change over time, although you can probably figure some of it out from my other blog if you look hard enough.]

    What do you see yourself doing 5 years from now?
    I don’t know. A few years ago, I would tell people I wanted to design video games, but now that I’m in college, with a bunch of kids who actually grew up around computers that weren’t a decade old, I probably wouldn’t be able to keep up with all the new technology that is constantly changing. So I’ll probably just stay in school for as long as I can and become a professor or some other kind of academic. But I need to choose a major first…

    Are you into sports at all and if so, what sports?
    Mark got all the athletic talent in our family, and I worked the scoreboard and snack bar. I like watching sports, though, mostly all the usual team sports. Except baseball is on strike right now, and the World Series last year was cancelled… and half of this current hockey season was cancelled for the same reason. This year I’ve mostly just followed football, and my team won the Super Bowl this year 🙂 I also go to UJ football and basketball games.

    What do you think is wrong with the world?
    People don’t know what they should have learned in school.

    What is the first, best memory that comes to mind when you think over this Summer?
    Last summer, everyone was talking about O.J. Simpson allegedly murdering his ex-wife, I got real sick of hearing about that… I guess the best memory was the week after my birthday, about a month before I left for college, when some of my friends back home had a day at the beach and they surprised me with a birthday cake. I didn’t even know they remembered.

    What is your favorite Holiday?
    Thanksgiving. Food.

    Ketchup or Mustard? Or neither?
    Mustard on hot dogs. Ketchup otherwise.

    What is your favorite thing to do on a rainy day?
    Stay inside and wait for the rain to go away.

    Have you ever line danced before and if so, did you enjoy it?
    No, I haven’t. I went to a hick high school where Garth Brooks and Billy Ray Cyrus and Alan Jackson and all those guys are really popular, and line dancing is big there, but it’s not my thing.

    If you could go anywhere in the world for free, where would you go?
    Good question. Maybe Orlando because of all the theme parks. Or maybe Texas because I met this girl from Texas on an IRC chat, and she seems nice.

    What are your five top goals in life?
    I don’t know, but the top goal was Jamie Baker’s goal that knocked the Detroit Red Wings out of the NHL playoffs last year. I hate the Red Wings. That happened on my prom night.

    What is the most encouraging song you have listened to, and why is it?
