2019 Overview

Hey, all!

First of all, I want to thank all of you who have been a part of my blog. In just a couple of days, will be my 1-year mark since starting this blog, which I find hard to believe, honestly. I have grown exceedingly in my walk with Jesus and I have had SO many opportunities to do many new things. I have learned a lot through writing this blog. Thank you so much for being a part of my blogging journey. ❤

If you’ve been following my blog since the beginning, you might remember me posting an overview of 2018. If you didn’t see it, then please make sure to check it out below.

I decided that I would do another overview for 2019, too.

So without further ado, here is an overview of the year 2019, which, if I may add, was an AWESOME year, full of new experiences, LOTS of growing and loads of fun!!!!

January – 2019

In January, we had some of our neighbors over, two of which have blogs. The links are below and I would highly recommend you checking them out!!

Us girls playing an intense game of Spot It!

Also in January, a couple of friends and I from co-op, along with others, went to a local board game house. We all played board games and had a lot of fun there!

Playing an extremely fun game called Wits and Wagers.

That’s about all that happened in January, other than us doing school.

February – 2019

In February, our cousins came to our house and we had a lot of fun with them!

On a Saturday that wasn’t busy with anything, we all spent a cold day outside, building a chicken coop for my sisters chicks that arrived in March!

Building our chicken coop!

In the middle of February, I went bowling for the first time with friends. I had a blast and absolutely LOVE bowling, now!

L to R:

Keziah, Gabe, Collin and Clayton
Quick note: Thank you to Gabe for giving me tips of how to bowl right. You’re great. 😜
Another photo, because we can’t leave out the other people! The lighting in this picture is really weird…either people look like angels, or almost like aliens. 😜

For Valentine’s Day, a friend of mine named Hero (check out her blog link from the January section) and I put together our 2nd Annual Sweethearts’ Banquet for our parents. It was a lot of fun, but tons of work! To read all about it, check out my blog post on it below.

https://keziahe.home.blog/2019/02/11/valentine-sweethearts-banquet-2019/

By the time you read this, Hero and I will most likely be planning our next one, as well. 😀

Hero and I after the banquet.
Hero and I with “Aden”. (To understand this, check out the link to the blog post above.) 😂
We had our homeschool co-op as usual, and had a lot of fun going to that.

My Dad also had his birthday near the end of February, and we celebrated it by going bowling. I was very glad for the practice I had had with friends only a week or two before, giving me a slight advantage over my siblings that hadn’t bowled yet. 😉

We had a lot of fun in February, and enjoyed it immensely! March was tons of fun as well, as you will be able to tell by the information below. 😊

March – 2019

In March, my brother, Dad and some friends of ours went to Christian Music’s Largest Annual Tour called Winter Jam. I would highly recommend going to it. We had a blast and can’t wait to go this year! https://keziahe.home.blog/2019/03/07/winter-jam-2019/

Us at Winter Jam!

We also went to the Teach Them Diligently Homeschool Conference, which I would highly recommend you going to. https://keziahe.home.blog/2019/03/24/teach-them-diligently-conference-2019/

Us eating breakfast at the hotel where the conference was held.
Goofing off with friends in the car as we drove to the conference!
I attended the Photography Team thing that the conference was offering, and we got to take a photo with Ray Comfort!

April – 2019

In April, I had the privilege of flying to Florida with some cousins to check out the Pensacola University, there. It was a very fun time!

Fun times with cousins!!

Also in April, we went to one of our friend’s birthday parties and had a super fun time running around and playing Ultimate Frisbee with our friends!

Also in April, we took the portraits for all the kids at our homeschool co-op. I was able to help out with that, and we had a ton of fun!!

May – 2019

Well first, I got myself stuck in the mud with the neighbor’s side-by-side. I got it so stuck that not even four-wheel drive would get it out, so my dad had to pull me out with his truck, it was that bad. 😂
Our homeschool co-op had a crazy hair day, so we all got art pastels wet and rubbed them in our hair. It was tons of fun!!
My sister, Mom and I all dyed our hair with henna!!!
We started the filming of a short that our neighbors and I are making. Make sure to check out Hero’s blog at: http://sincerelyhero.home.blog
I went on a business trip with my dad and on the way, we stopped at Wall Drug in South Dakota.
Shearing alpacas with my dad on our business trip!

June – 2019

In June, I went to my first camp EvEr!! It is called Worldview Academy, and it’s an Evangelistical Leadership camp that is absolutely AMAZING!! I highly recommend checking it out here: http://worldview.org. Also, if you want to read more about my experience there, check out my post here.

I went to my first camp – Worldview Academy, in June. It was so amazing!!
The Blue Team at Worldview. (We won the relays, too.) 😎

Also in June, our female corgi had two puppies!

That’s about all that happened in June…it wasn’t too eventful. Now onto July!

July – 2019

July honestly wasn’t terribly eventful, either. We enjoyed our last month without school and my brother and I were able to help out at our friends’ VBS.

Here’s a play that we did with our friends at their VBS…

We also poured a concrete slab for a basketball court at our house at the end of July, which we have really been enjoying!!

Now onto August, which was very busy. 😊

August – 2019

On August 5th, we started school. Here’s a photo of all of us, showcasing to you what grades we went into. 😊

We also went to a park and a restaurant with our friends, where we took a pretty sweet selfie, if I may say so myself. 😜

Mom and I also sold both of our corgi puppies in August. Here’s a photo of us with one of them. 😊

We started our homeschool co-op in August!!

Most of the kids at our homeschool co-op!!

September – 2019

September was a great month! We had a family reunion with some of my dad’s side of the family in Missouri, so that was super fun!!

We were able to go roller skating with a ton of my favorite homeschool people and had a ton of fun with that.

Some of my best friends and I!! 😊

October – 2019

October was a great month. As usual, I had school, but I was also able to attend my first ball, which was tons of fun! You can read more about it here.

Lots of thanks to one of my best friends, Micah, for asking me to go the ball with him. I had a fabulous time and look forwards to going with you again, this next year. 😉 Also, to Hero, for giving me her old ballgown, which I used. It’s a lovely dress, Hero, and I loved wearing it. 😊❤

We went roller skating, and I had lots of fun. There’s a dance-off at the end, and my good friend, Hero, and I waltzed across the rink. 😜 You can check her awesome blog out here.

We went to Silver Dollar City, in October! I had never gone before, and we all had a blast going to that!

We went to a territorial school day! It was very interesting and we had lots of fun!

That was about it for October. We shall now move on to November. 😊

November – 2019

November was a very fun month. I attended a fun sleepover which was hosted by my very good friend, Hero.

My baby brother turned 3-years-old in November!! I cannot believe how much he is growing up. ❤

Bubby and I with his birthday m&m’s. 😊

One of my best friends, Hannah, and I had a 16th birthday party where we watched the OU Sooners vs. OSU Cowboys college bedlam football game. We had around 30 homeschooled teenagers there, and it was wild, to say the least. Yet, it was SO. MUCH. FUN!! I stained my hair red and white the night before (OU’s colors) and it was very messy, to say the least…

Aaaand here’s photos from our Bedlam party. It was amazing!!

December – 2019

December was absolutely amazing!! I turned 16 and there were loads of things that happened!

I turned 16!! 😎

I was a part of a Victorian Walk, which is when you dress up from the Victorian Era (1837-1901) and walk around our downtown, re-enacting from the era. The latter, being dancing Victorian dances in the street, and also sitting in shop windows, where you would drink tea, play poker, or paint. People can stroll past and watch you as you re-enact these scenes. It was SO much fun, I made so many friends, and strengthened the friendships I already had. Here’s photos from this fabulous time!

Here’s our group, all dressed up and lookin’ classy!
Some of my best friends and I: Micah, Riley and Noah. ❤

I cut myself side bangs! I know that’s not that crazy, but it was a highlight for me, as I hadn’t had side bangs for a year or two. 😜

Of course, there was Christmas. We had a great time and just hung out, which was loads of fun!

I convinced all but one of my siblings to take a photo with me…here we are, Christmas day. ❤
We have a tradition of sleeping near the Christmas tree the night before Christmas. It was lots of fun!!

Day after Christmas, I saw the new movie “Little Women”, with my mom and one of my best friends, Riley!! We had a capital time and the movie was amazing.

Love this photo. Riley is such an amazing friend. Love ya! ❤

Seeing as we had a holiday break from school, I got to spend a bit more time with my family. That was a lot of fun and we had a blast together!

My Best Bud, Bubby, and I hangin’ out. 😎
My favorite sister, Tirzah, and I. 😉
Ezekiel and I listening to the OU vs. LSU game. (We got so distraught and bored over it, that whenever LSU had the ball, we would re-enact the plays we heard, which we thought were the best. During commercial break, we would recite the advertisements and dance to the music. So, even though the game was awful, we had a blast together. 😝)

My little brothers and I always have so much fun together. I figured out that it’s a lot more fun to be loud and crazy with them, rather than to get mad at them for that. Thus, we have loads of fun together, especially when I’m babysitting them. 😜

We had some of my best friends, Hannah and Jacob over for New Year’s Eve, along with two of my awesome cousins. We had SO much fun together!!

Hannah and I pretty much got high on drinking a non-alcoholic beverage; probably around 20 ounces of sparkling grape juice together. 😂 It was absolutely amazing and even though our hyperness only lasted about 20 minutes, we had so much fun. 😝

That was my year! It was absolutely amazing and I learned and experienced SO many new things!

Here’s to a great new year, in 2020!

Cheers!

-Keziah ❤

That must have taken forever to make! I am using exclamation marks way too much!!!!!!!!! LOL I don’t have cable or anything so I couldn’t watch the bedlam game, but I am definitely glad I didn’t watch the LSU game (we can pretty much say now that Jaylen isn’t as good as Baker or Kyler)… Also I love that your devising a plot to try to meet Ray Comfort, that’s hilarious and awesome!! 😛
