This award was created by Okoto Enigma. Awesome award, Okoto!!

Let’s see, three things about myself…I will try and think up three things you don’t yet know about me, so here goes:

  1. I am obsessed with tea. I have, on average, at least two or three cups a day.
  2. I go barefoot about 90% of the time. I try to wear shoes in more public gatherings where it’s usually not allowed, but at home, in the forest and with dancing, I go barefoot. (It’s actually REALLY healthy for you. Research it!)
  3. I love to climb trees and often do in our forest, when the weather is nice.

All right! Now, onto the questions I was asked…

  • Milkshake or lemonade?
Milkshake!! Lemonade is lovely too, but I’d choose a milkshake over it, any day.
  • Are you fond of musicals?
Oh, yes. I just love musicals. My favorites are (in no particular order):
The Greatest Showman, Newsies, The Sound of Music, Fiddler On the Roof, My Fair Lady, White Christmas, Annie…I am sure I could think of more, if I tried harder, to think. I really love classic musicals, the best.
  • What motivates you to write?
Either reading a good book, or myself. Sometimes, I’ll get into this mood where I’ll tell myself that I shouldn’t give up on my writing, because if you give up once, it gets easier to give up again and again, in the future. So, yep.
  • What was the last book you read?
Anne of Avonlea, by L.M. Montgomery.
  • If you could write a book what would it be about?
I am working on a book right now that is historical fiction, so I would say that.

All right! That was enjoyable. Thanks again for the nomination!! Here are my questions, for my nominees:

  1. What is the craziest thing you have ever done (or one of them)?
  2. Are you reading any book right now and if so, what book?
  3. What is your favorite thing to write about?
  4. What is your opinion on this whole coronavirus thing?
  5. Would you rather explore the bottom of the sea, or the vast amount of celestial space?

I personally think that this is one of my best posts, even though it didn’t get a ton of traffic. I’d love for you to read it and comment there, letting me know what you thought. 🙂

I now nominate (only six people; I’m sorry… If you’d like to be nominated for this, feel free to. 😀 ) :

Ezra
Hero
Elisha
Lydia
Steve
Gale

Cheers!

      1. I’ve been going barefoot for years…It’s just that more recently, I’ve researched how healthy it is for you (really, it creates more neurological pathways in your brain, creates more awareness of what’s going on around you, and helps your body connect to the earth, more.). I’ve gotten to the point where I really detest wearing socks and only do when I’m wearing shoes. 😆

      2. Lol, of course. We live way out in the forest, and my parents have pretty much quarantined the whole family, so I can still go barefoot. We’re in Oklahoma and people are not as concerned, as I think they should be. If anything, everyone is busier and out more, and I don’t think they’ll stop until it gets either extremely serious, or we are all put under lockdown.
What about you? How’s it, where you are?

  1. (Answering in character, it is June 1995, unless otherwise specified)

What is the craziest thing you have ever done (or one of them)?
So when I was in high school, I really liked this girl, Melissa. We were good friends already. Another friend of ours, Diana, she had a lot of friends at another school that she would talk about sometimes. I don’t think she knew I liked Melissa, and she was trying to set up Melissa with this guy from the other school, Dan. One night I was really upset about this. I thought I knew Dan’s last name, so I looked him up in the phone book. Back in 1994, when most people used land lines, the phone company would send you a book with the names and phone numbers, and sometimes addresses, of everyone and every business in your town. (You could choose whether or not to be listed in the book and, if you were, whether to just have your first initial, first name, or both names of a couple, and whether or not to include your address.) So I called Dan’s house, I was going to say something mean to him without saying who I was and then hang up. Some lady answered. I said, is Dan there? She said Dan’s not here. So I hung up. And then I found out later I had Dan’s last name entirely wrong anyway, so the phone number I called wasn’t Dan, and there just happened to be someone else named Dan living there.

Are you reading any book right now and if so, what book?
I just started a job in a bookstore, and the lady who owns the store told me I could read on slow days if I didn’t damage books that I didn’t intend to buy. I just started reading Rose Madder by Stephen King. [Adult Greg barely remembers this book, except for the fact that I read it that summer.]

What is your favorite thing to write about?
I like to write fiction, and usually there’s a character based on me, trying to figure out life or learn something about the world.

What is your opinion on this whole coronavirus thing?
Coronavirus? What’s that? It’s 1995. [From Adult Greg: I’m really scared. I’m scared that if the media and the government can hype things up and get people this excited about giving up their freedom when they don’t really know what’s going on, then a corrupt government can do the same when lives aren’t directly in danger and violate our rights. Kind of like what happened to the Japanese in 1942.]

Would you rather explore the bottom of the sea, or the vast amount of celestial space?
    Space. Space is awesome.
