With My Whole Heart…

I read a wonderful verse in the Bible and I wanted to share it with you, along with my thoughts…

“With my whole heart I seek you; let me not wander from your commandments!”
– Psalm 119:10

First of all, I love how this verse ends with an exclamation point. Such a wonderful phrase, to end in exclamation. But. Let’s get on to my thoughts of this verse…

The way that I see it, we need to be constantly praying and asking God to create in us, a will and desire to seek and obey Him with our entire being.

Too often, we seem to get caught up in just trying to change ourself, but God is amazing and He can do anything. So, if we go to Him and ask Him to guide us, to give us a holy desire to always obey and love Him, then we will be changed.

One way or another, whenever you pray for something, you’re always changed. Whether it’s a good or bad thing; it depends. But prayer isn’t one of those things that never has any effect on people. It really does. Even just the act of praying changes your life.

Anyways, now I’m getting off on an entirely different subject, and I’m sorry about that. but, all that being said, we need to go to God with our trials and ask Him to help our entire heart seek Him, and not to seek earthly pleasures. He will hear your prayer and He will answer; all we have to do is ask.

All right, there’s my thoughts… I hope y’all liked this post. I do enjoy writing these out for all of you. Have a wonderful day. 😊

Carpe Diem!
