Make Christmas A Thanksgiving.

Please don’t forget what Christmas is all about.

It’s super, super easy to get sidetracked and to just think about all the presents we’ll give or receive, the food we’ll eat, the family we’ll see….

Photo by Me. Please don’t take it and use it. Thanks. πŸ™‚

But that’s not what Christmas is about. That’s a part of what we’ve made Christmas. But it’s not what Christmas IS about.

Christmas is about celebrating that Jesus; our precious Jesus – was born. As a little baby.

And we need to take the time, not just on Christmas, but around the whole thing…To thank God for sending His Son, just for us. We need to act like it’s Thanksgiving, on Christmas.

So, please be thankful, this Christmas. Spend lots and lots of time celebrating Jesus, and just being with Him. He deserves way more than we can give Him.

So. Make your Christmas, a Thanksgiving. πŸ™‚

Carpe Diem!

  1. “Thanksgiving on Christmas” is probably the best description I’ve heard of how we should treat Christmas. Thank you.
Also, I’m totally gonna have to dig out all my old artistic Christmas light photos now so I don’t steal this one…

  2. Yes. I get so annoyed when people talk about how Christmas is about unity and kindness and giving and love and all that stuff… none of that stuff is bad, of course, but Christmas is first and foremost about Jesus being born.
