A lot of times when it gets hard with another person in our life, we just want to give up. We want to throw our hands in the air and walk away.
Because why keep trying, if it feels like nothing is changing? Why the perseverance, if it doesn’t feel worth it?
If the feeling of growth isn’t there, why keep trying? We feel torn down and defeated. We don’t want to rise again. We’d rather let go of the rope, than strain as we pull the person up. We’d rather they fall, than us suffer.
That is so self-centered.
So malevolent.
So ungodly.
So cowardly.
We need to stop letting go, and start holding on.
"One of the most important things you can do on this earth is to let people know they are not alone." - Shannon L. Alder

People need people. We were made FOR each other. To help one another. To give the supporting hand. To wipe the flowing tears. To pat the aching back. To kiss the frowning lips. To smooth the ruffled hair. To clean the soiled garments. To share a laugh….
To lighten the burdened spirit.
We can’t give up JUST when it gets hard.
I get it. It can be really, really hard at times. You just want to scream at the sky and you wish none of this had ever happened…
"You can't go back and change the beginning, but you can start where you are and change the ending."
- C.S. Lewis
I know that giving up might seem like the best option.
But don’t.
You were put in this place.
In THIS situation.
For a purpose.
Who knows what that purpose is…who knows the reason you have gone through these experiences…
I’m just here to tell you….
Don’t give up on those around you. We need each other.
Now..more than ever.
Carpe Diem!
